The "Grizzled" gene can affect all varieties.

  • iv//iv, Ta//+, Gr//+ or iv//iv, Ta//+, Gr//Gr or ivP//ivP, Ta//+, Gr//+ or ivP//ivP, Ta//+, Gr//Gr (Grizzled Apricot)

  • dB//,Ta//+, Gr//Gr ou dB//,Ta//Ta, Gr//Gr (Grizzled Orange)

  • Ta//+, Gr//Gr or Ta//+, Gr//+ or if purplish brest : Ta//+, Gr//+, +//ry, or Ta//+, Gr//Gr, +//ry (Grizzled Tangerine)

  • Gr//Gr, +//+ or Gr//+ (Grizzled Wild)

Overall appearance:
Dove with flaking coloured coat white or grey depending on the base colour.


Details:
Head= Grizzled (all colour combination).
Neck-Band= Depends of the initial variety.
Beak= Depends of the initial variety.
Eye= Depends of the initial variety.
Breast= Depends of the initial variety.
Scapulars= Depends of the initial variety.

Flight feathers= Depends of the initial variety.

Tail= Depends of the initial variety.

Flaws:
Grizzled pattern not clear enough or poorly distributed on the dove, irregular neck-band drawing, bad eye colour.
